Jessie Mae Teng is a fashion design student and the founder of Malaya, a clothing brand inspired by comfort, simplicity, and everyday living. Her interest in fashion comes from wanting to create pieces that feel easy to wear while still looking clean, timeless, and intentional. She is drawn to relaxed silhouettes and natural fabrics that suit the lifestyle and climate of the Philippines.

As a designer, she believes that clothing should feel both comfortable and meaningful.Through Malaya, she hopes to create pieces that people can genuinely wear in their daily lives while promoting a more mindful and slower approach to fashion.
