About the Designer:

Bea ultimately knew that this is not just a thesis but a passion project where she can truly express herself in. It was a joy and a privilege to be doing something close to the heart. Figure skating was her first love and that was the start of a business made with love. While performances are worthwhile, they only last minutes; what Bea truly enjoyed was training. And who wouldn’t want to look good while training. Looking cute while training helps you feel good, boosts your confidence, and gives you more strength in trying to do more. Returning to something you were once obsessed with as a kid will make you realize it never really left you entirely.

Metamorphosis is positioned as a modern Philippine athleisure and performance-fashion brand that combines versatility, movement, and metamorphosis into a single identity. The concept of metamorphosis is based on the idea of physical and emotional transformation via movement. Evolution, self-expression, and confidence are all represented by the name. The company blends athletic performance, elegant shapes, and cutting-edge styling instead of producing only utilitarian sportswear. This harmony is indicative of the broader development of athleisure, as buyers seek a wardrobe that combines comfort, style, and mobility.
